April Fools!

People don't have any control over where a solar eclipse will take place. But on a positive note, you don't need to register, or even be in the path of totality, to enjoy the upcoming solar eclipse on April 8th, 2024.

Nota bene: You also don't need to worry about radiation from the sun, and you can just wear your regular sunblock.

How you can enjoy the eclipse:

Punch a hole through a piece of paper. As you shine the sun's light through it try to focus it on the ground to see how much of the sun is being blocked by the moon.

Shine the sun's light through a colander and look at its shadows.

Observe the shadows of a tree's branches.

Look at the sun through solar eclipse glasses (make sure they are safe for viewing a solar eclipse) or a welding mask.
